Death Note Vol 1: Boredom

Death Note, Vol. 1: Boredom (Death Note, #1)Author: Takeshi Obata
*Manga Review*

Here's the synopsis:

"Light tests the boundaries of the Death Note's powers as L and the police begin to close in. Luckily Light's father is the head of the Japanese National Police Agency and leaves vital information about the case lying around the house. With access to his father's files, Light can keep one step ahead of the authorities. But who is the strange man following him, and how can Light guard against enemies whose names he doesn't know?"

This is my first manga and I LOVE it! This book was gritty, had a bunch of twists and turns that made this book very appealing. I definitely enjoyed this very much.

Light found a notebook called a Death Note, and it belongs to Ryuk, a God of Death...or at least it did, but now it is Light's. Light has decided to use the Death Note to kill criminals and people who hurt others.

All this death of criminals has the police on high alert and they are trying to find out who this man is and arrest him, but Light won't have that.

This book had beautiful drawings, I think I may have a crush on Light. The book is easy to follow, and it is a joy to read. The twists and turns are also just so surprised they leaving you stunning and somewhat hysterical (BTW, do NOT read this in class you will start hyperventilating and the teacher will go crazy.)

If you don't read manga then I do recommend you read this if not anything else.I am not a fan of manga, I actually hate it, but this is a true joy to read. READ THIS!!

**This is about the length of a whole manga review due to the length and amount of plot in them.
